You can also see her working as a contact in the Yokai Hunter’s Guild.
Height: 5’7
Weight: Curvy but athletic!
Gender: Female
Affiliations: The Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul, and currently The CHurch of the Immaculate Heart. She is also affiliated with the Yokai Hunter’s Guild.
Appearance: Under her habit she has soft chestnut colored brown hair. Her eyes are a bright blue. She is friendly, cheerful and plucky. She is often seen wearing one of two variations of a Catholic Nun’s uniform. One is the shorter skirt, sweater and habit with knee socks. The other is a full nun habit, with robes and such. Shoes are usually loafers or boots. She also wears her rosary.
Belongings: Agnes will often carry a satchel containing her bible and a few helpful things to treat wounds or pay her way. She is also a fan of Louis L’ammor, and often has a dog eared paperback with her. On the subject of weaponry, Sister Agnes carries two revolvers and sometimes a rifle. She carries blessed silver bullets on her that are provided by the church. In her satchel, there is extra ammo and holy water. As a last resort, she also carries an Ash wood and silver crucifix. This is almost as long as a forearm and contains a blessed blade in it. Often, she will also have a half capulet style cloak, with the church’s signature embroidery on it.
Personality: Agnes was a country girl that has a very positive can-do attitude. She is friendly, has a bit of a drawl when she speaks and has a great sense of humor. She loves working with children and has a knack for handling both them and animals.
Character Strengths: Her never give up stubbornness and her positive attitude are her greatest strengths. She also has a great sense of humor and can be considered a bit ornery.
Character Flaws:Sometimes depression. Under that smile and quick joke is someone that has seen a lot for being young. There is the belief that some of the kindest, gentlest people are some of the saddest or most lonely. In a way that is very true for Agnes. She has lost a bit to get where she is, and even though she cares for Japan, there are things she misses about Georgia. She never really got over the death of her sister, Anne. Not really. Her younger sister has burnt a hole in her heart.
Backstory: Agnes was the older of two sisters growing up on a farm in Georgia. Her family had livestock and horses. Agnes would often take a Louis L’amor book with her when she would be out watching cattle with her father or lazing about on a hot day. When Agnes was 16, she and her younger sister Anne were left to watch the farm while her parents sold some of the livestock that were being sent to market, as well as getting new supplies for the homestead. During that, a thunderstorm rolled up on them and they had to take shelter in the house. This storm was bad. It was enough to wash out the dirt road leading to the house. In the middle of the storm, an entity broke into the home through the living room window. It looked humanoid, somewhat like Noseferatu from the old black and white movies. It leapt onto Anna and tore out her throat while she had been sitting by the tv. Agnes grabbed her father’s shotgun out of the family gun cabinet to defend her and their home. When it finished with her sister, it leapt for Agnes, and Agnes hit it point blank in the face. It slumped to the floor, seeming to be dead, but, a few hours later when Agnes did finally get ahold of her parents and the police, it had gotten up and dragged itself away. While her parents and the police believed it was an animal or a human with rabies, Agnes knew better. Evil exists! But if evil existed, so did God. At 17, Agnes left home, much to her parents' sadness. She couldn’t reconcile with her baby sister’s death. But she could prevent that from happening to other people. Which is where the Catholic church came in.
Family, Friends Etc:
Norman and Irene Harrison- Agnes’ parents. They are ranchers that have been running a family ranch in the sense that they are the second or third gen to own it from Norman’s family.
Anne Harrison- Agnes’ baby sister who died to a vampire attack during a storm.
Father Dorian- A friend that also works at the same church she currently works and resides in. She will oftenly describe him as ‘good fer nothin’, though, she’s not serious when she says that. She doesn’t like that he drinks and mothers her friend a little.
Sister Sarah- A nun that started around the same time she did, they usually end up in some of the same places and are friends.
Mother Superior- The current lady running the Immaculate heart.
Kenji Nishimura- A contact in the Yokai Guild that helps connect church members and gives information. A kinder older gentleman.
Powers: Agnes works as a vampire/yokai slayer for the church. Her abilities can purify evil and drive evil away. She can bless weaponry/bullets.
Power Theme:Nun with guns/Vampire killer. Carries God’s blessing to slay unclean monsters.
Rank C Ability: ‘Blessing of the divine’ Agnes can use her spiritual strength to bless more bullets, holy water or weaponry, like a blade for example. This effect can cause aggravated damage against unclean things like vampires, ghouls, gaki, things of an unclean nature. This blessing stays on the item until it’s used in the case of bullets. As for a blade, it stays on the weapon for a limited time.
Rank B Ability: ‘Vaya con Dios’ Go with God. Agnes can unload a maelstrom of bullets on her foes. These bullets are charged with blessed energy. They burn away at unclean monsters and yokai, but are not really useful against ghosts. This move is an acrobatic move that expends both stamina, and bullets. It is a burst of fire. It can be exhausting to do more than once in a combat scenario.
Rank C Passive: ‘The will of God’ Agnes’ faith gives her a bit of extra fortitude and toughness over all. It makes her a little harder to knock down and quicker to get up. She can be knocked down, but it takes a lot to get her down.
