The Phoenix is a mythical creature depicted in various cultures' myths and lore. Several key attributes and symbolic meanings are associated with it. - Element of Fire: Many of the elements of the myth and lore of the firebird are mirrored in the cycles of fire, destroying, in order to give space for renewal. But it also represents some of the more nurturing aspects of the flame and the warm it provides.
- Rebirth and Renewal: Representing the cyclical nature of life, death and rebirth. The Phoenix is often depicted as being consumed by fire and then rising from its own ashes, in a renewed existence.
- Immortality: Either by extension of his cycles of renewal or through other means Phoenix are often portrayed as either immortal or exceptionally long-lived, between rebirths.
- Symbol of the Sun: Many cultures associate the phoenix with the sun. The Sun's cycles of rising and falling bringing forward a beginning and an end mirrors the birth and renewal of the phoenix this microcosm the proximity to the element of fire have interlinked the celestial body with the firebird.
- Resurrection: Though most commonly associated with its cycles of life, death and rebirth, many see the phoenix as a symbol of the triumph of life over death. Or in a more abstract the idea that even in the face of destruction, new life and hope can emerge.
- Regeneration and Healing: Phoenix are believed to have healing powers, its presence often believed to bring about renewal. Some going as far as believing that forest fires are intrinsically linked to Phoenix cleansing the land before a new cycle of renewal.

Rank C Ability: 'Crimson Wings' The wings that rest on Aito's back function as extra limbs which he can easily control. He can move them, keep them tightly press against his body, stretch them or fan them amongst other movement, all in all they have a very flexible skeletal structure which gives him great freedom of movement. He can easily feel whatever happens to them which can be a blessing or a curse. The feathers are red and all indicators point that there still slowly growing. Some less visible adaptations like having practically zero body fat have also occurred though more importantly his muscle mass, especially his upper body has been reinforced and strengthen, allowing him to resist the strain of having to carry his large wings among other things like producing the force necessary to gain lift and fly. This restructured muscle mass does make him stronger, but not to a superhuman level, but more like a healthy young man who regularly lifts weights, and its exclusively centered on his wing and functionality. There are other details and kinks to this, mainly in the aesthetic department, nails randomly getting a black tint, feathers growing on other part of his body, etc.

Max. Weight (Carried): 250 lbs excluding his own weight. Speed deceases by 3 mph. for each 10 lbs, above his own weight.
Note: Not Aito needs to be careful of flying up to high, between the temperature shift and harder to breath air, it can be quite dangerous.
Rank B Ability: 'Sacred Flames': Wreathing his arms in colorful flames, he's able to lay his hand on a person. To 'burn' away an injury, initially the fire will cauterize the wound, scarring the skin in the process. Minor wounds burning away, larger gashes closing, yet still requiring recovery time, and deadly wounds stabilizing. Once a person has taken the time to fully recover the scaring formed by the flames peels off like a scab leaving behind little to no mark. The flames can be quite exhausting to use, and he's limited to the range of touch and through he can take the injury down by one step it is up to the person being treated not to push themselves.
Rank C Passive: Aito's anatomy has evolved over time in order to allow him to fly more effectively, his bone structure is different from the average human; his lattice is structured in such a way that although it now slightly tougher than normal bone, it is lighter. Where the average person skeletal structure makes up about 14% of their weight his structure makes him lighter and better at distributing the impact and stresses of flight and landing.

At the gate way to death, Aito looses control over the phoenix flames, as his mortal body vacillates between life and death, the phoenix flames burn brightest, his body Superheating till his very being catches fire, his wings a cloaked in flames and burn away into ash, like head of a matchstick, and once the last of his wings burn away. Aito explodes into a great fireball. The flames have a great reach incinerating most things withing its reach and at the center of it all is an exhausted, shell of Aito. His wings missing and his fire barely an ember. It will take months of healing for the Aito wings to regenerate back to their prime and once they are fully healed, he would be able to trigger this last-ditch power that, leaves him vulnerable for months on end. Till he is fully recovered all other abilities are unable to be tapped.

When all else fails, Aito unleashes a last-ditch power to protect those he cares for, deep within himself he focuses the phoenix flames, causing his body to superheat and his flames to burn at their brightest. His wings are cloaked in flames and burn away into ash, like head of a matchstick, and once the last of his wings burn away. Aito explodes into a great fireball. The flames have a great reach incinerating most things withing its reach, all that Aito wishes to protect are shielded, the flames wash over them feeling no more harmful that a warm summer breeze. At the center of it all is an exhausted, shell of Aito. His wings missing and his fire barely an ember. It will take months of healing for the Aito wings to regenerate back to their prime and once they are fully healed, he would be able to trigger this last-ditch power that, leaves him vulnerable for months on end. Till he is fully recovered all other abilities are unable to be tapped.

During the drawing of his blade, Aito allows the blade to nick his palm allowing his blood to run down the blade. When time tomes to fully draw out the blade, the blood coating the blade ignites into the sacred flames of the phoenix allowing his sword to better interact with supernatural elements.
Supplement ability? Upgrade? Drawing Art Fire's Crescent: After coating his blade in his blood, Aito can draw his blade with great speed launching a fire crescent five meters forward.

A few years ago Aito would have told you that he did not have plans beyond his fifteen years of age his doctors had told him that unless something changed his life would be cut short. Today though you see a Teen who's slowly developing into a charming young man. The way he holds himself, the way he smiles and lives, one would not think he had seen deaths door, or knew hardship.
At fourteen Aito seem to have been frozen in time barely changing from how he looked at twelve, now at sixteen the story seems to have changed, standing at five feet nine inches, he's not exactly the tallest guy, but he's in a good place to be, he no longer looks like an eternal preteen his features starting to mature. Starting from his face one can quickly see that it has taken stronger angles, giving him a more matured look.
Aito has grown his brown hair longer than he usually keeps it, the longest on the back reaches around his shoulder blades, the front if keep shorter and more manageable, his hair is not dead strait it has soft curl. He has thin and well-defined eyebrows and strong blue eyes. His facial features have matured, yet are quite refined, a small nose, and sly slips, and his ears are seemingly larger, but this is mainly when compared to the other features on his face.
A few years back scrawny would have been the word to describe Aito now days it's far from that, hard work in the last few years have started to show fruit, on top of his new blessings have help him develop. His white slightly peachy skin is littered whit the marks and scars from the many surgeries and times times he has fallen or worse broken a bone. He has practically no body fat and lacks the muscle to give him an aestetic look, giving him a very lean built, his upper body in particular his shoulders being where most of his muscle development has occured.
The one thing that truly allows Aito to stand out, beyond hid mix ancestry and makes him who he is are his wings two large feathery appendages that sprout from his back, at one point the source of a lot of frustration, now days these crimson limbs are the source of freedom and recognition at seven feet long each. They them provide him with a fourteen feet wingspan when there not tucked tightly against his back, they seem taller than him becoming the true center of attention when it comes to Aito.
Thankfully his wings have a very flexible bone structure allowing him to fold them tightly against his body, it still takes great effort from Aito to hide his wings specially if he's going to be in public for long spans of time, thankfully his feathers cause his wings to look bigger than they are meaning that with the right straps and clothing they don't stand out much, it is a painful experience for the most part as he has to practically tie his wings down. This has forced him to acquire specially tailored clothing in order to hide his wings or in other cases allow them to slip comfortably through the slits designed for me. Since hiding them can be godly uncomfortable, but he understands that it is nessesary at times.
As mentioned before a big part of Aito's clothing is specially tailored, especially when it comes to shirts, and jackets, suits and uniforms, in school he will wear his school uniform, nothing special there, out on a casual every day thing he prefers loose shirts, that way even if he has his wings tucked in they have their space and he's not forced to strap them down, denim has become his new favorite material, looks good yet sturdy enough for every occasion. He has a collection of trench coats, his favorite being an old military one his father passed to him, as it allows him to hide his gift when needed.

At seventeen Aito still holds himself with great optimism and levity, although he has experienced some new hardships that where not present in his past, he personally believes things are moving on a positive direction and wishes to share that with others.
His features have not changed much maintaining a relatively youthful appearance and his inability to grow any facial hair have made it impossible for him to even try to purposely make himself look older, though due to the training at the academy he had lost a fair bit of his 'baby fat' allowing his face to have some more defined angles.
He has kept his brown hair on the longer side, short bangs frame his face while the rest is usually kept on a ponytail that stops around his shoulder blades, the soft curls giving his hair a somewhat messy look even when he attempts to control it.
And though his features are more angled and defined due to his training, there still carry a certain youthfulness to them, from his expressive eyebrow to his big blue eyes.
All the training at the academy has not made him bigger if anything his frame looks smaller underneath his clothing is a very thin frame if one didn't know or saw him eat they would be inclined to believe he was edging to a unhealthy weight, he practically has no body fat left on his body, and what little muscle development he's managed to build focuses mostly on upper body, mostly his back and chest.
He makes a point not to walk around shirtless between the many surgery scars and in his personal opinion unsightly thinness he rather burry himself in loose clothing though, Aito's biggest blessing is also the biggest curse, his wings, the large crimson appendages on his back, although his wingspan is still about fourteen feet the feathers on his wings have grown giving the impression that his wings are bigger than they were.
Thankfully his wings have a very flexible bone structure allowing him to fold them tightly against his body, it still takes great effort from Aito to hide his wings specially if he's going to be in public for long spans of time, thankfully his feathers have just enough give and flexibility that he's still capable of utilizing specially tailored clothing and straps to keep them contained when he does not need them to stand out. It can be a painful experience, but a tradeoff he's willing to have for a semblance of normal from time to time.
