"Well i cant ride bikes. tried to ride that one, fell. Gave up after that." Eiji admitted in a slightly defeated tone. He did not get to ruminate on his lack of cycling skill long before that Miko was screaming again. This time yanking him around by his clothes. Oh right. He thought to warn her about his little warning signs, but in his defence he never thought she would wander out this far by herself. Eiji pointed out towards the Gaki who was still squirming a bit. "Well that one bit me when i was making a fire so he had to go." Eiji calmly explained as he started to point out all of the effigies he had made thus far. Another of a Oni missing a arm and a leg was strewn up on the far side of his little camp. "And that one came at me with a club when i was walking back here a few weeks ago." The oni was also pinned into the tree but with a wooden branch. "Dont really have a pact with em or nothing. They just kept attacking me out here so i put a few of em up as a warning. This is my side of the forest, at least while im waiting here that is." The small Miko's overactions where erratic to say the least. What he could use is a nice handful of river water and a cigarette. "I think you might have a fear of Yokai or something Miko." That makes sense. Why else become a Miko if not to get magic to kill yokai better? "Are you gonna let go of me now or are you just gonna stay holding on to me?" He asked as he fit a cigarette under one of the bandages and into his mouth.

The defeated voice was forgotten in her retort about his camp layout. To even think he would be out in the woods like this! Mika thought too politely he was gnawing scraps in some cave when having all these bodies around. “No way I can have anyone see this,” she glowered and shoved him off in a huff. Cleaning her hands on the side of the tree, Mika hurriedly attempted to brainstorm what to do about this. “If I can claim and support the mountainside to be sacred then that should ward off a few lingering campers,” she figured. Orochi then pipping in how she might be scared of yokai causing her whole train of thought ending there.
“Scared?! Hardly!” She pointed back at him rather offended by this. “You think you’re the scariest thing out here, huh? I’m not scared of you so none of this can even make a scratch to be all fearing about.” Mika drove fears into anger to do something. Worrying over what Ise would think of the state of the shrine mattered more than cowering over some made of law a yokai would lie about. “I don’t have time to be scared over some stupid games yokai play around with. Pretending like they’re still gods over lands actual divinity have over.” The girl found what she was looking for and despised it. Arguing above the state of the camp made her want to purge the place completely. She began to hop off the bike and walk about to not the limbs and bones of yokai strewn about. Assuming the worse that the energies here would fester.

"Im pretty sure you don't have to worry about people around here. All the time ive been here i haven't seen anyone out in the wild. Cept for you that is." Eiji would have went on a tangent about it but she seemed huddled up in her own thoughts till she threw a finger in his face. The nerve of this girl. Calling him scary like that. People called the nasty Yokai that, and that wasn't him. Pointing a finger right back at her he started up. "No im not scary, ive been told im quite nice thank you very much." Course it was really only dad and granny who would call him such a thing. But the thought was still there with him. "And this isnt a game and im not a yokai. They attacked me like they attacked you. Cept instead of fumbling around i killed them. When you put up warning signs they listen.... sometimes." Eiji could recall such Yokai taking the effigies as a challenge like the big Oni currently lying in the distance. He walked next to her as she got off the bike. Thinking about the small jab at her eailier he wondered if that would hurt his chances with breakfast. Probably. Well When Dad was mad it was always a good idea to start talking solutions. "Y'know if its that bad i could just take em down." Eiji offered, but he really didn't want to. The Yokai would start waltzing about the place again and bothering him in his tent. Either by trying to get in it or throwing rocks. They loved to be nuisances, on the other hand he really wanted to eat this morning. "You could do your thing and fix it right?"

“Exactly the point. I can’t have people come this way.” Mika continued to fret about handling visitors and making what a possibly perfect yokai free shrine would be. Keeping people in line wasn’t the same for priests of Ise. “They’d want to understand the full layout. I’ll need to map more of these mountains to understand.” A miko that only thought of the grounds would be foolish and naïve. The rest of the forest required equal attention and his camp made it alarming that she’ll have to venture small hikes more. The gurl came across the fallen limb of the hanging oni and pressed a talisman on the flesh to try purging its essences.
His response about not being scary made her wary if he even understood the word or had wax in his ears. “Your face is bandaged and you show up with hardly a sound. If people saw you at a wrong time, you’re going to scare them off. Then folks will think the shrine is haunted. Can’t you simply, not wear any of that? You can’t still be rotten flesh or something under that… I hope.” Mika about prayed that wasn’t the case to consider if he wore a mask instead. The limb and its negative energies wafting up like white smoke vapors as she sighed and thought of what to do.
“I’m thinking. Just need a moment to scale the area. Leaving these bodies around isn’t going to clear the air.” Mika returned to the bike as she judged the tent to be about the center of this camp. “Even if their bodies dry up and bones litter the floor, it’s the sort of habitat demons would like to house the selves in. Burrow into the masses or come collect for themselves. Then you have those who seek a challenge because some big dumb leader in the past got famous for being big and dumb enough to fight everything to make it tradition. The worse that can happen is the attraction of demons that actively produce miasma when they make a roost.”
She talked aloud and started placing talismans as hand wraps around her hands. “Just a press… just a press clear and take the bike back,” the girl told herself when setting up herself a large barrier. “Secure,” the miko commanded. The kanji on the talisman around her hands glowed as the familiar box that once held Orochi formed around her. Spreading her hands, the talismans flew off as the box rapidly grew in size, coming the small camp and further. Traces of yokai from the arm further away to the bite marks on her leg released more of that white smoke. Mika allowed it to sit a few minutes of collecting this energy before the box gradually shrunk in size till it centered around Mika once more. The girl stepped out of box and forcied it to shrink to the size of a cloudy gold cube in hand. A temporary fix but it had space contained for the moment and that’s all they can ask.
“I’ve seen enough,” Mika declared in a heavy breath as she took the bike and tried to pedal back to the shrine. Wobbling unevenly as before. Just like before, her pant leg got caught in the chain link and gears, promptly falling over into one of the trash statues.

"Well i mean even if they did they wouldn't have much to see around here." He pointed out as she mumbled to herself. Watching her put some paper on his hard work erked him. Lifting that big bastard up and putting it up in the tree was tedious work, but he bit his tongue. He looked at her a bit perplexed when she asked if he could simply just not wear his bandages. "Its much more conferrable this way. My flesh isn't rotting... right now at least." The way the words danced off of his tongue, it was equally possible he was joking or completely serious with that statement. Though she hit the nail on the head, with at least one aspect of his ailment. "I could take em off. But you wouldn't like what you see." Eiji left it at that. "That would explain why big guys come strolling in here every so often. I just thought they were wandering." It made sense now in hind sight. He couldn't help but too tense up when he saw the box again. It didn't hurt last time.. too much at least. His worries were unfounded as he witnessed the size and scale of her magic box. Color him impressed. Granny didn't know too much in the ways of magic. This was really something to see. Though a thought entered his head, how strong was her magic? Stronger than him? He was curious to find out. Then the sound of a crash. Bringing his head up he could see her taking a tumble into one of his creations. "MIKO!" He yelled out as he ran over to her. Reaching her he knelt down, though instead of helping her up he was occupied trying to pick up the pieces of his creation. "Why did you crash into Robot-san? He was difficult to build you know."

This guy just doesn’t get it which made the effort to explain that curious people wander can cause a problem. Even hearing about literal trash art will be eyes on the shrine for, reasons that Mika dreaded from her seniors, lower interest. A wave of art seekers ending up in a cultist yard had to drive more people away than lure! The girl hated the very idea and wanted to bury this place somehow. Not sure just yet but there had to be a way to cleanse this mountain. Simply a matter of containing it all like that small cube created by the barrier to cleanse into another cube. However long that would take.
“What sort of collective of holy mountains is this province,” she grumbled a loud from her place on the ground. Mentally screaming to vent that this bike continued to be difficult and now she had to be touching the trash. Begrudged to have the morning turn out this way, she got up to try tugging her pant leg free and trying not to tear her clothes. The loud “MIKO” making her jolt on reflex to be called upon to loudly. She looked up from her tangled mess of trash and bike as that Orochi came running over. Hesitant of what he’ll do, she stared at him as he rushed over to her side…and swept up the mangled scarecrow to cradle in his arms.
The miko’s brow quivering at his over dramatic lament. “You should have built them with sturdier pikes!” Mika yelled back and picked up a smashed soda can to throw at him. Insulted to have fallen in this ghetto art deco and now him scolding her for running into it. “A stray boar, no, a tiny grasshopper can be enough to break them! If they were so difficult to built then you should have considered better on how to preserve them!” Mika tried kicking him away with the bike attached to her pant leg, wiggling the fabric for the gear teeth to gnaw a hole before letting her free.
Angered enough by his antics, Mika picked up the bike and kicked the pedal into place as she climbed up to ride back in the general direction of the shrine. “You better not show yourself at the shrine without getting cleaned up!” The ever demanding miko storming off to drown herself at the springs, running into one tree and another, then pushing off to propel herself. The spokes on the wheels making a metallic shudder with each tire impact against the trees. Over all, she did ‘t turn him away for eating again at the shrine, for now.

A can dinged off of his head as he rubbed his head, dropping the head of his creation on the ground. "Im sorry i didn't expect Women to ride bikes into my little statues!" It could probably take a assault from a boar, but she was bigger than a boar. He thought about telling her that, and throwing that can right back at her. "Well maybe you should learn how to ride that damn bike before you go trouncing around anywhere you feel like!" Though her next comment about him being needed to be cleaned up before he showed his face back at the shrine. "Wait but youre the one covered in dirt, if anyone needs to wash up i think its you." Making a nasty face at her he turned back and looked at his robot strewn across the forest floor. With a sigh he slowly started to rebuild his statue. Attempting to piece him back together.
